Most part and assembly designs were drafted and revised on paper and later digitized using low resolution scanners, necessitating human intelligence for interpretation
Given the aging workforce and diminishing supply base, the challenge continues to mount to reliably and intelligently identify content within legacy data, causing misinterpretation during remanufacturing and/or repair processes

Solution

VizSeek’s shape search and OCR technologies automatically extract text, symbols, and dimensions to aid in the “ballooning” process for identifying critical characteristics, which then flow down to the forms for First Article Inspection Report (FAIR)
